Malopolska Centre of Food Monitoring was created in 2006 at the Food Technology Faculty of University of Agriculture in Krakow.
The foundation of the Centre was partially financed by European Regional Development Fund. The Centre has, i.a., atomic absorption spectrometers, chromatographic systems: HPLC, GC-MS, chromatographic amino acid analyser, nitrogen and fat analysers, system of capillary electrophoresis.
The structure of the Centre is based on specialised analytical laboratories providing services of food analysis such as determination of nutritional components or contaminants.
Our main research are focused on assessment the nutritional value of food, the presence of contaminants in the agricultural and food articles, and qualitative and quantitative food changes occurring under the influence of different treatment technology.

Cooperation
The Malopolska Centre of Food Monitoring is eager to cooperate with local and international scientific and research institutes and enterprises in the implementation of scientific projects and development. We offer organisation of conferences, seminaries and courses in the area of food safety and monitoring, and use of analytical methods in assessing the food quality.
